THE ANNOUNCEMENT

Education and Science Ministry of Republic of Kazakhstan, the Turkish World Mathematical Society, Mathematical community of Kazakhstan and al-Faraby Kazakh National University are pleased to invite you to the III Congress of the Turkish World Mathematicians to be held from June 30 to July 4, 2009 in Almaty, Kazakhstan.

The Turkish World Mathematical Society was founded in 1999 and unites mathematicians from Turkey, Kazakhstan, Azerbaijan, Kyrgyzstan, Uzbekistan, Tajikistan, Russia, Iran, China, Mongolia, USA and European countries. The first Congress of the Turkish World Mathematicians had been held in Firat University (Elazig, Turkey) in 1999. The second Congress had been in Sakarya University (Adapazari, Turkey) in 2007.

    The Congress purpose and aims are discussion of achievements and development prospects of mathematics and the information technologies application in the scientific researches, strengthening of the international contacts and expansion of collaboration between the Turkish World scientists.

    The Congress will be held in one of the most beautiful cities of the Central Asia - Almaty. Almaty is the financial, scientific and cultural centre of Kazakhstan.

    Al-Faraby Kazakh National University is the largest educational and research centre in Kazakhstan. It was founded in January 15, 1934. It has achieved the top ranking in the assessments of national universities.

    Al-Faraby Kazakh National University is the leading classical university of Kazakhstan, the national leader of innovative development in higher professional and postgraduate education and science. The university has a long and distinguished national reputation for the quality of its teaching and research. It is the first winner of the Kazakhstan President prize” The top quality achievement”.

    The student body of the university is more than 16 thousand. It offers more than 180 degrees at 14 academic departments. The University has a big scientific potential. It incorporates 8 scientific research institutes including the Scientific Research Institute of Mathematics and Mechanics.

    Abstracts :

    In order to publish a short report abstract it is necessary to present a short abstract text in English without formulas whose volume must be up to 0.25 page (A4 format) on the page of the Organisation Committee (http://conf.kaznu.kz/CTWM-2009/) after participation registration before May 1, 2009.

    Report abstracts of the congress participants will be published in the Conference Works Collection. Publishing texts must be submitted to the Organisation Committee (Lazzat.Dairbaeva@kaznu.kz) in the electronic form before May 1, 2009 observing the following requirements (Report abstract Pattern):

    1. The report abstract text of one full page volume (A4 format) in English must be in the format of the Word 2003/XP editor.
    2. The page margins: top – 2 cm, bottom – 2 cm, right – 2 cm, left – 3 cm.
    3. The type (except the text title): Times New Roman, size – 12, interval – one.
    4. The formulas must be typed in the Microsoft Equation editor, sizes: common – 12 pt, large index – 10 pt, small index – 7 pt, large symbol – 22 pt, small symbol – 12 pt.
    5. The report text title is typed in the capital letters using bold type of the 14 size in the line centre, after one blank line – the family name and initials of the authors in the small bold letters, in the next line – the working place (without contractions), city, country, in the next line - E-mail in bold small letters, after one blank line – the main text, after one blank line – with bold capital letters the title "REFERENCES", after one blank line – the literature list itself.
    6. Figure subscriptions – in small letters of the 14 size in the line centre.
    7. Automatic arrangement of the word division into syllables.

    Additional information :

    Registration fee
    Registration fee for the Congress participants makes 6000 tenge and includes organiza-tional expenses, expenses on the Conference Works Collection edition, and also coffee-breaks in days of work. Registration fee is paid after arrival to the Congress.
